Information we collect
- Email subscriptions: your email address, optional first name, requested printable, consent choice, confirmation status and unsubscribe status.
- Messages: information you include when you contact us and the correspondence that follows.
- Technical and security data: request information processed by Cloudflare, which may include IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, requested URLs and security events.
- Affiliate links: the website presents marked affiliate links, but Amazon controls information about activity and purchases after you leave this website. We do not receive your Amazon account or payment details.
The signup form includes a hidden company field to detect automated submissions. Genuine visitors should leave it empty. The application does not add a bot submission to Brevo.
We do not ask you to state a religion or denomination. Requesting Christian prayer or Bible-study material may reveal an interest in faith-related content. We do not use that interest to profile you or make automated decisions about you.

Email choices
The marketing checkbox is empty until you tick it. We use double opt-in, so marketing starts only after you use Brevo's confirmation link. Every marketing email must provide an unsubscribe link. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Who receives information
- Brevo, which processes double opt-in subscriptions, email delivery, consent and unsubscribe records for us.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the website and routes the signup request to the Worker.
- Professional advisers, regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where disclosure is necessary and lawful.
We do not sell personal information. When you follow an Amazon or Pinterest link, that third party receives the request and handles information under its own privacy notice.
International processing
Cloudflare, Brevo and their approved subprocessors may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK law requires a safeguard, we rely on an adequacy regulation or the provider's contractual transfer safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses. Contact us if you would like information about the safeguard relevant to your data.
How long we keep information
- Active marketing records are kept while you remain subscribed and normally removed after 24 months of inactivity.
- Consent evidence and minimum suppression information may be kept for up to six years after the last marketing interaction so we can demonstrate consent and continue to respect an unsubscribe request.
- General enquiries are normally kept for 12 months after the enquiry is closed, unless a legal or contractual reason requires longer.
- Cloudflare security records are kept only for the period available under the configured service and while reasonably needed for security, troubleshooting or legal obligations.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time and always have the right to object to direct marketing. Contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
Security and automated decisions
We use access controls, encrypted connections, limited permissions, double opt-in and service-provider security controls appropriate to this small website. No internet service is completely risk-free. We do not use your information for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Children
The email list is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has subscribed should contact us so the record can be removed.
Changes to this notice
We will update the date at the top when this notice changes materially. If a change affects how we rely on your consent, we will explain it and request fresh consent where required.
